Thanks for all the leadership you've given us over the years. :) I am always impressed when I spend time in the BIL. I am getting worse at remembering names, but we had lots of really helpful people playing at tables and giving great advice and tips, during my time at the Marathon. In my other activities on BBO, I frequently run into people that have benefited from the time they spent in the BIL, and they mention it on their cards. Thanks for your dedication over the years to this worthy cause. :) thank you for creating the wonderful BIL. . I wish you and all of the generous volunteers in the BIL all the best. I'm excited about having such a knowlegeable person being my mentor.I wish to thank you for your dedication to the BIL network, it has been a life-changer for me. The people are simply awesome. We love you, we support you, we sympathize with you and as ever we are patient thank you for many years of maintaining BIL. It has been a real help to me. I'm now a silver life master thank you for everything hope all is well with you and all the motivational and inspiring work that you do with BIL. I am not sure how you do all this on your own. Great work and wonderful program. Just want to let you know that I have used Bridgebase for the lasst 3 years and it has been my saviour on many an occasion. THANK YOU I appreciate and again Thank You for all the BIL has done for me, the improvement of my game and having met such enjoyable bridge players I think the BIL is a wonderful, incredible resource. Thank you so much for inventing it! The BIL has been an amazing club for me and helped me to progress. It has been an incredible source of information and help. You have made a huge positive impact on so many people's lives, mine included I love the BIL lessons, they are very helpful. And I keep ploughing through BIL movies. I do appreciate the BIL, it is helping to accelerate my grasp on bridge.Another appreciative, avid learner! Maureen you have been just wonderful and many precious memories made. You and the BIL continue to amaze. I well remember how kind you were to me as a newbie. Actually, you were a big reason that I even continued learning. And remembering that reminds me how very intimidating this game can be. I’m trying to convince my sister it’s worth carrying on. You have done a lot for the bridge world; more than anyone I know. You will always know that you did something for so many It is always great to see you and your wonderful service to the BIL I am diving deep into BIL and loving it! Thanks for this wonderful resource. I would love to register for Karen's upcoming Defense classes. I expect to get even more out of them than I did the first time and am happy to be a silent kibber to give first time attendees a chance in the hot seat. I have to tell you.... one of my partner's and I played a BIL tourney recently... we had to play 10 of 12 hands as defense.. and WE WON THE TOURNEY!!! Both of us have been attending Karen's classes and we are certain she's the reason we are getting better at defense! She is just a really thorough teacher who helps her students think through scenarios. Fantastic and I'd love to attend the sessions again! :)Also, I am still mentoring with Prad and I can tell we are making good progress, in bidding and now starting declarer play. He's a fine teacher with a lot of patience... and also very good at helping me think through scenarios (not rules). :)Thanks so much for all the work you do to keep the BIL such an actively useful group for beginners eagerly seeking intermediate! Thank you so very much Maureen dear and also Fred for all this effort. I so admire and appreciate what you have done, and yours and the generosity of others to make this game accessible to us newcomers. Thank you so much. What a FANTASTIC achievement😉 I remember the beginning so well, was new to BBO and the bil was just sooo welcoming, we were all so excited to have it happening. Huge hugs to you and thanks I am in constant awe of how much BIL is offering me -you amaze me how you cope and always give such a calm attitude to whatever is going on. As a newish member & someone who needs exactly this - a setting where a person who knows they will never excel in bridge still has the tools to improve in a safe environment, I am blown away by ur dedication, the quality of teaching, & the variety of offerings. Keep up the good work & don’t fret what is out of ur control. Many thanks. my mentor is great, one lesson a week and learning so much I’m starting to really enjoy bridge and attribute Bilbridge to this. . I would have never stayed on BBO if it hadn’t been for BIL. Membership in BIL is very worthwhile to say the least, thank you for your work and dedication. Maureen, all of us at BIL appreciate everything you do. Thank you so much for all that you do. I often think how lucky we are to have a passionate leader like you. I don't know what we would do without you! and I don't know what I would do without the BIL! Thank you, once again, for all the hard work you have put into making this game accessible to us learners. I hope know how much you are appreciated. What you and others like have done to give of your time to spread the bridge word is commendable to make an understatement. Thank you again. BIL and all the work you do has given much comfort and support to so many in these difficult times. You are an inspiration in many ways. The BIL is the best virtually free resource I have found anywhere for beginners and intermediates who want to learn & improve their bridge, no question about it. You really are a bridge hero for championing the BIL, I hope it carries on as long as there are people who want to learn bridge. Thanks for all you do and have done, Maureen! :) I really appreciate all the great opportunities available through the club, and you and all the others who give back so much. huge thanks for all you do - I know it's a big job wrangling all the BILlies!
